Photographer Raymond Clement and his work Family of Jazz have drawn much of their inspiration from a concert of Duke Ellington back in 1970 and the exhibition Family of Man by Edward Steichen. Even since Duke's concert, Mr. Clement has devoted his time to catch the genuine spirit of modern jazz in his camera.
In 1975, he showed his work for the first time during Nancy Jazz Pulsations. Then in 1977, Family of Jazz crossed the Atlantic and became a touring exhibition throughout the USA where it rapidly notched up an overwhelming success.
After Brussels and Athens in 2008, Luxembourg's CCRN displays Raymond Clement's complete works on jazz.
